A recollection of something that happened a couple of days ago.
An acquaintance tries to change my mind regarding marriage...That my life is not complete; I ain't settled; I don't know what life is; that i need to read some book to understand the need for a companion; that i don't understand the importance of family..... people who know me would be surprised that I was hearing out this rant without calling the spade the spade, at the outset. ;) :P
This gentleman tells me that because i am young, I didn't undertand life. He remembers my job, is interested to know how much i earn!! His ego is hurt when i tell him that it's my prerogative not to answer that question. Still refuses to acknowledge the fact that i am not impressed by him nor his pseudo-chauvinism. Challenges me that i would call back with the realisation of the need for a partner(in him).
"Sorry doctor, i don't remember your name." As an afterthought, he adds, "I have so many contacts, i don't remember names".
Well, end of story.
I'm not judging anyone ;) :P you are free to ;)
